Self-adhesive cork boards

Love crafting or building models? Cork rolls are great for dioramas, scale models, and even decorative pieces. They’re lightweight, easy to shape, and frequently used in theater or movie set designs.

Flexible cork is also a reliable choice for creating gaskets, as it conforms effortlessly to various surfaces.

The main reason is simplicity – you don’t need to be a pro. Just peel and stick! There’s no need for messy adhesives or specialized tools. The adhesive backing is already applied, so you don’t have to stress about missteps during installation.

Self-adhesive cork adheres best to clean, smooth, and even surfaces, such as drywall or furniture panels.

Before applying the cork, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and dust-free. Uneven or rough surfaces may compromise adhesion, even if they seem only slightly textured.

For decorative or protective applications on walls or furniture, thinner rolls (2-4 mm) are ideal. For cork boards, go with thicker rolls – 5-10 mm. And if insulation is your main goal, choose cork that’s at least 10 mm thick.

For large-scale projects, like covering an entire wall, cork rolls are the way to go. They’re easier to apply and minimize visible seams. However, sheets are better suited for small-scale projects or precise applications.
