WHAT’S THE EASIEST WAY TO INSTALL A 4MM SELF-ADHESIVE CORK ROLL ON A WALL?

Pick your spot: Decide where you want it. Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, and completely dry.

Prep the surface: Wipe away any dust or debris so the adhesive sticks properly.

Peel off the liner: Gently remove the protective film to reveal the sticky side.

Stick it up: Press the cork firmly against the wall, starting in the center and smoothing outwards.

Double-check the edges: Press down along the borders to secure everything in place.

Let it set: Leave it untouched for 24 hours so the adhesive bonds completely.

WHY SHOULD THE CORK BE ALLOWED TO ADAPT BEFORE INSTALLATION?

Skipping this step could cause issues like curling or peeling. Let the cork adjust to the room for at least 72 hours before putting it up. That way, it bonds better and lasts longer.

CAN A 4MM SELF-ADHESIVE CORK ROLL BE APPLIED TO ANY TYPE OF WALL?

No. It works best on flat, smooth, and clean surfaces like drywall or furniture panels. Rough or dusty walls won’t hold the adhesive properly.

WHAT CAN YOU USE 2–4MM SELF-ADHESIVE CORK ROLLS FOR?

2mm rolls are great for craft projects, lining drawers or shelves, and light decorative use.

The thicker 3mm and 4mm rolls are perfect for bulletin boards or decorative wall coverings. For push-pin boards, go with 5mm or thicker cork.

CAN I APPLY IT OVER OLD WALLPAPER?

Not recommended. Self-adhesive cork won’t stick well to old wallpaper or peeling paint. For a long-lasting hold, make sure the surface is smooth and debris-free.
