WHAT ABOUT THEIR WEIGHT?

Granule weight depends on size:

0.5 – 1.0 mm: 140–150 kg/m³.
1 – 2 mm: 100–110 kg/m³.
2 – 3 mm: 120–130 kg/m³.
3 – 4 mm: 110–120 kg/m³.
4 – 5 mm: 120–130 kg/m³.

IS NATURAL CORK ECO-FRIENDLY?

Definitely. Cork comes from the bark of living cork oaks — harvested without cutting down trees. This means it’s renewable, biodegradable, and leaves no waste behind. A true eco-choice!

HOW IS CORK GRANULE MADE?

The process is simple but careful: bark from cork oaks is harvested every 9–12 years, then dried, cleaned, and crushed into granules in various sizes — from powder-fine to chunkier bits.

DO GRANULES RETAIN THEIR PROPERTIES?

Absolutely. Even after being crushed, cork keeps its outstanding qualities — insulating against heat, moisture, and sound. Plus, in granular form, it’s easier to work with and incredibly flexible.

DOES CORK PROVIDE GOOD INSULATION?

It sure does! Cork naturally insulates both heat and noise thanks to tiny air pockets trapped inside. Unlike synthetic options, cork does all this without chemicals. It’s light, breathable, and safe — for you and the environment.
