Bold, flashy 3D wall panels might make a big impression in glossy catalogs or social media posts, but in everyday living spaces they can feel overwhelming. Busy patterns and intense colors often create too much visual noise. Our Cork 3D Tatami Wall Panels bring a whole new approach — their refined, balanced texture adds depth and character to your walls without taking over the room. It’s no surprise they even caught the attention of Vogue — but we’ll get to that later.

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
HOW ARE THE CORK 3D PANELS SOLD?
Each package includes 1.98 m² of material (11 panels total). Every tile is 300 × 600 mm, covering 0.18 m² per piece.
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE INSTALLING?
- Always store and transport panels flat.
- Before mounting, let the panels sit in the installation room for 72 hours so they can adjust to temperature and humidity.
This simple step helps prevent warping, detachment, or uneven seams once installed.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO INSTALL CORK PANELS?
- Choose the right adhesive — we recommend Wakol D-3540, which we use ourselves with great results.
- Expect to use about 150–250 g/m² of adhesive. That means a 0.8 kg tub covers roughly 4 m² (about 22 Tatami panels), and a 2.5 kg tub covers around 12.5 m² (about 68 panels).
- Apply adhesive to both the wall and the back of each panel using a short-nap roller for smooth, even coverage.
- Wait until the adhesive on both surfaces turns clear before attaching panels.
- Allow around 24 hours for full curing.
HOW SHOULD I PREP THE WALL?
- Clean: Remove all dust, grease, and debris to ensure strong adhesion.
- Level: Smooth out any uneven spots with filler or compound.
- Prime: On very porous surfaces like bare concrete, apply a primer before gluing.
CAN THEY BE INSTALLED ON UNEVEN WALLS?
Not recommended. The panels need a smooth, even, clean, and dust-free surface to hold properly.
WILL THE SEAMS BE NOTICEABLE?
Because cork is a natural material, minor gaps can appear due to changes in temperature or humidity. Letting the panels acclimate for 72 hours before installation greatly minimizes the chance of larger gaps forming.
CAN THEY BE USED OUTDOORS?
We wouldn’t suggest it — exposure to rain, temperature swings, and other weather conditions can shorten their lifespan and affect appearance.
CAN I CUT THE PANELS TO SIZE?
Yes. A fine-tooth saw, like a Japanese pull saw, will give clean cuts with minimal fraying.
HOW DO I CLEAN THEM?
For regular dust and dirt, a slightly damp cloth or a soft duster works just fine. For tougher spots, use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner.
NOTE: Avoid strong chemicals like acetone, bleach, or chlorine-based products — they can damage the cork’s look and structure, reducing its moisture and mold resistance.
Some wall panels don’t need flashy designs to stand out – they blend in effortlessly, enhancing a space without taking over. That’s exactly the charm of Tatami 3D Cork: it brings texture, a subtle rhythm, and gentle depth, creating interest without crowding the room.

#1 FEATURED IN THE PAGES OF VOGUE
Tatami cork panels deliver a refined 3D visual effect that enriches the atmosphere without overwhelming it. You can choose from three finishes: Natural – the classic cork look, Light – for a brighter, airier vibe, and Midnight – the deepest, most dramatic option. Each tile is precisely beveled along its short edge, making the overall layout seamless and polished.
It’s no coincidence that Tatami panels were used in a cutting-edge rotating home in Mazovia, Poland – a project highlighted by Vogue. This residence goes beyond architecture; it’s a thoughtful response to modern living needs, blending advanced technology, sustainability, and style. Cork fits right in – it’s natural, durable, functional, and aesthetically appealing. The fact that Tatami earned a spot in a Vogue-featured project speaks volumes. When design truly matters, it’s not just about trends – it’s about smart, lasting choices.
#2 A SAFE, SMART WALL SOLUTION
Cork is a practical pick – it’s a natural material that doesn’t trap dust, resists moisture, and won’t encourage mold or mildew to form.
Tatami panels are child-friendly and safe for allergy sufferers – they release no harmful chemicals. There’s no need to decide between “good-looking” and “functional”: here, you get both. The wall becomes a design statement, while you enjoy the confidence of a healthy, safe home environment.
#3 YEAR-ROUND COMFORT
Cork wall panels provide something you won’t get from wood or ceramic. They act as natural insulation – helping keep heat indoors during winter and maintaining a cooler feel in summer. They also soften sound, creating a quieter, more relaxing space.
Cork outshines ceramic and wood. It’s never cold to the touch, nor visually rigid. Ceramic often brings a bathroom-like feel to living areas, while wood – beautiful as it is – can demand constant upkeep. Cork only needs an occasional wipe-down, won’t collect dust, and requires no scrubbing. It’s effortlessly low-maintenance.
#4 SUSTAINABILITY WITH REAL IMPACT
Of course, looks and practicality matter – but cork offers more. It’s one of the rare materials that’s not only eco-friendly but actively benefits the environment. Harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, it naturally regenerates every 9–12 years – without cutting the tree down. Plus, cork forests absorb significant amounts of carbon dioxide, helping lower CO₂ levels in the atmosphere.
That means installing cork isn’t just a low-impact choice – it’s a positive environmental contribution. This isn’t a marketing catchphrase; it’s a measurable fact. One tree, many harvests, no harm done. You can enjoy a beautiful living room, guilt-free and without compromise.
