HOW SHOULD I PREP THE WALL BEFORE INSTALLATION?

Let the cork settle in first. Leave panels in the installation room for 72 hours so they adjust to temperature and humidity.
Ensure the surface is even and dry. Clean off any dirt or uneven areas for the best finish.
Wipe thoroughly. No gluing over dust, grease, or leftover paint—your surface should be spotless.
Plan your layout ahead of time. Map out where each panel goes before applying any adhesive.

WHICH ADHESIVE SHOULD I USE?

We recommend Wakol D-3540 adhesive. A 0.8 kg tub handles about 69 panels, while 2.5 kg covers roughly 240. Use a short-nap velour roller to apply glue to both the wall and tile back evenly. Wait until the adhesive turns transparent—then press firmly.

IS IT NECESSARY TO ACCLIMATE THE PANELS?

Definitely. Keep them in the installation room for at least 72 hours to prevent future movement or peeling.

WHAT IF MY WALL IS UNEVEN?

Panels stick best to flat, smooth, and clean surfaces. If your wall is bumpy, the tiles may not adhere correctly or could eventually fall off.

WILL SEAMS BE NOTICEABLE?

There may be slight seams, but the pattern usually disguises them. Letting the panels rest before installation helps minimize any visible gaps.

DOES NATURAL CORK PROVIDE INSULATION?

Absolutely. Cork naturally insulates—keeping rooms warmer and quieter. Its cellular structure traps air, which helps reduce heat loss and muffle sounds.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE PANELS?
