ANY PREP WORK BEFORE INSTALLATION?

Acclimate the cork. Let your panels sit in the room for 72 hours. It helps them adjust to temp and humidity—otherwise, they might warp or peel.
Prep your wall. Flat, clean, dry, and smooth—no exceptions. Small imperfections will show and ruin adhesion.
Clean thoroughly. Dust, oil, flaky paint or wallpaper leftovers? They’ll stop the glue from working. Get it spotless first.
Map your layout. Know your design ahead of time so installation goes smoothly.

WHAT’S THE RIGHT WAY TO APPLY THE PANELS?

Use Wakol D-3540 cork adhesive. One 0.8 kg tub handles around 69 panels; the 2.5 kg size is good for about 240. Roll glue on the back of the panel and the wall evenly with a short-nap roller. Let it dry until clear, then press the panel on firmly.

DO I NEED TO LET THE PANELS REST FIRST?

Absolutely. Let them sit in your space for 72 hours. That helps them settle and stick properly, reducing the chance of cracking or lifting later on.

WHAT IF MY WALL IS TEXTURED?

It’s best to stick to smooth, flat, and clean walls. Uneven surfaces make it harder for the adhesive to grip—and the panels may fall over time.

WILL THE PANEL JOINTS BE NOTICEABLE?
