HOW SHOULD I PREP MY FLOOR BEFOREHAND?
Make sure the floor is smooth and completely dry. Ideally, moisture should be under 12% for proper adhesion.
Remove any old layers like oil, wax, silicone, or dirt. A cleaner base means a better finish and longer-lasting results.
WHAT’S THE BEST APPLICATION METHOD?
- Shake the can well before starting.
- If the cork is glued down, check that the adhesive is fully dry first.
- Apply three coats. After the first coat, let it dry overnight so moisture can escape and the cork can settle. Before applying the last coat, lightly sand the surface for a smooth finish.
HOW MUCH COVERAGE CAN I EXPECT?
On average, you’ll need about 80–120 ml per 1 m², depending on how porous the floor is and your application method. That’s per coat – so if you’re applying three coats, plan on using more overall.
DO I NEED TO MIX OR DILUTE IT?
Nope – it’s good to go straight from the container and shouldn’t be thinned.
HOW SHOULD I STORE THE PRODUCT?
Keep it at room temperature (or slightly cooler), but always above +41°F (+5°C). Don’t let it freeze, since it’s water-based.
