Thinner cork (0.8mm) is ideal for crafts, DIY accents, coasters, or decorative panels.

Thicker options (2–4mm) are great as decorative wall layers or anti-slip surfaces. Just note—they’re not made for pinning.

ROLL VS. SHEET – WHICH TYPE OF CORK SHOULD I USE?

Cork rolls are perfect for large surfaces thanks to fewer seams. Be sure to unroll and flatten the material before applying it.

Cork sheets are better for small-scale projects and don’t need to be flattened ahead of time.

DO YOU SELL SELF-ADHESIVE CORK FOR WALLS?

IS CORK ROLL A GOOD PICK FOR BULLETIN BOARDS?

It can work, but for a pin-friendly corkboard we recommend rolls that are between 5mm and 10mm thick.

HOW CAN I CUT CORK CLEANLY AND PRECISELY?

You can use a sharpknife or scissors, depending on the cork thickness. Use stencils for decorative shapes or tight cuts.

CAN I PAINT NATURAL CORK?

Sure! Our cork rolls can be painted to fit your home’s look. We suggest using our cork-specific paints.

WHY DOES CORK NEED TIME TO ADJUST BEFORE INSTALLATION?

Let the cork sit in the room for about 72 hours before installing. It helps it adapt to the temperature and humidity, reducing the chance of warping or peeling.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO INSTALL NATURAL CORK ON WALLS?

We recommend using a strong contact adhesive like Wakol D-3540.

Here's how to do it:

Prep your wall: Make sure it’s smooth, dry, and clean.

Apply the glue: Spread the adhesive evenly on both the cork and wall using a roller or brush. Use about 150–250g/m². 0.8kg covers 4m², while 2.5kg handles about 12.5m².

Let it dry: Wait until the glue turns clear.

Stick it on: Press the cork firmly to the wall and smooth it out. Full curing takes about 24 hours.

CAN I USE CORK ROLLS ON UNEVEN SURFACES?

We don't recommend it. For best results, stick to flat and even walls.

IS NATURAL CORK EASY TO CLEAN?

Yes – just use a damp cloth or a dusting tool. Its antistatic surface keeps dust from sticking around.

IS CORK OK FOR KITCHENS OR BATHROOMS?

Cork works well in spaces with 40–60% humidity, but avoid exposing it to excessive moisture to keep it in shape.

HOW DO I PROTECT CORK ON THE WALL?

Use wood-friendly coatings like waxes, oils, or clear sealants. For wall applications, try our beeswax cork polish or ask at your local hardware store.
