HOW TO MOUNT 3MM CORK TO A WALL?
We recommend Wakol D-3540 contact adhesive.
Steps:
- Prep the wall: Make sure it's flat, dry, and clean.
- Apply adhesive: Coat both surfaces with a roller or brush. Use approx. 150–250 g/m². 0.8 kg covers 4 m²; 2.5 kg covers 12.5 m².
- Let it dry: Wait for the adhesive to become transparent.
- Apply cork: Press it evenly onto the wall. Allow 24 hours to cure.
CAN CORK BE USED ON ROUGH SURFACES?
We don’t recommend cork for uneven surfaces. Best results come from clean, flat walls.
IS CORK EASY TO MAINTAIN?
Yes! Just dust or wipe down with a damp cloth. Cork is anti-static, so it naturally repels dirt and dust.
CAN I INSTALL CORK IN KITCHENS OR BATHROOMS?
Yes, as long as the humidity stays between 40–60%. Avoid direct water exposure to prevent damage.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO SEAL CORK?
