CAN CORK HELP LOWER TURF TEMPERATURES?

Yes, it can. Cork naturally resists heat buildup, unlike rubber. Its low thermal conductivity means it warms up slowly and retains less heat, keeping the field cooler and more comfortable in hot weather.

HOW MUCH CORK INFILL IS NEEDED PER AREA?

One kilogram of cork covers around 2 square meters. For a 20 m² lawn, you’d need roughly 10 kg. It’s easy to estimate and budget based on your project size.

WHAT PACKAGING SIZES DOES CORK INFILL COME IN?

We offer cork granules in a variety of sizes to meet every need — 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg bags for smaller projects. Bulk orders are available on pallets: half pallet (180 kg), full pallet (360 kg), or even double and triple pallets for larger installations (720 kg and 1080 kg).

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO INSTALL NATURAL CORK ON TURF?

First, apply a uniform layer of sand — about 2 to 5 mm deep — over the turf base. This helps create a smooth surface and holds the cork in place.
Then, spread the cork granules evenly using a rake or similar tool. Be sure to distribute them gradually to avoid uneven spots.
If you spot any areas with excess or sparse cork, simply smooth it out and level the surface again.

HOW SHOULD EXTRA CORK BE STORED?

Keep unused cork in a dry, cool spot out of direct sunlight. Seal it in bags or containers to keep moisture and dirt out and maintain product quality.

CAN CORK INFILL BE COMBINED WITH OTHER MATERIALS?

It’s not recommended. Cork works best on its own — adding other infill materials might interfere with performance and reduce safety and comfort.

IS CORK INFILL FLAMMABLE?

Nope. Cork has a high ignition threshold and burns much slower than rubber. If exposed to fire, it doesn’t release harmful fumes, which makes it a safer pick for public and private spaces alike.

HOW LONG DOES CORK INFILL LAST?

Cork requires very little maintenance. Occasional checks and top-ups are all that’s needed. Full replacement typically isn’t necessary for 5 to 10 years, depending on usage.

IS THE PRODUCT CERTIFIED FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY?
