The process involves compressing fine cork particles under heat and pressure to form solid shapes. The adhesive activates at temperatures ranging between 230°F and 266°F (110–130°C).

Granules are poured into a mold and then heated and compressed. The adhesive binds the particles together. Once cooled, the molded part is ready for use.

DOES THE CORK MIX HAVE AN OPEN WORKING TIME?

No, and this gives you an advantage. The adhesive only activates when the right temperature is reached, offering you full control during the entire molding process.

IS THERE POLYURETHANE IN THE MIX?

No, our cork mix is free from polyurethane. It’s non-toxic, solvent-free, and environmentally friendly.
