WHAT ARE LISEC SPACERS DESIGNED FOR?

LISEC spacers are used to protect glass surfaces from scratches, chips, and cracks. They make it possible to stack glass panes safely without direct contact, minimizing the risk of damage during handling or transport. The foam backing adheres gently to the surface—no glue or adhesive required.

HOW DO THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF GLASS PROTECTION PADS COMPARE?

The key difference lies in the foam thickness used in each version. You can choose between three options: 1 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm. The standard model features a 3 mm layer of natural cork, which applies to all standard configurations. Custom orders are also available—spacers can be made with cork of any thickness to meet your specific requirements (just send us a quick email inquiry).

Spacers are also offered in a variety of lengths and weights, making it easy to match them to the exact needs of your application.

HOW ARE LISEC GLASS SPACERS APPLIED?

The application process is handled using LISEC automated machinery. The system feeds a continuous strip of natural cork and foam, cuts it to the desired size, and applies it directly to the glass surface. Each piece is automatically adjusted to match the dimensions of every glass panel.

The combination of cork and foam provides exceptional stability when handling fragile glass materials. The foam layer gently grips the surface, while the cork evenly distributes pressure, preventing the panes from slipping or bumping into each other during shipping.

Without proper protection, even small vibrations or bumps can cause scratches, cracks, or chipped edges. A single sharp turn, uneven road, or overpacked crate can lead to costly damage. That’s why using the right protection system is essential for safe glass transportation.

Choosing the right spacers also helps make your operations faster and more efficient. The packing process is quick and straightforward—just apply the spacer with the dedicated LISEC machine, and you’re done. There’s no need for extra tapes, films, or protective pads. The result is consistent performance and reliable quality every time.

In addition, LISEC spacers offer real cost savings. Fewer complaints, replacements, and repairs mean lower operating expenses—and over time, that adds up to significant long-term savings for your business.
