Got questions? We’ve got answers!
CAN I INSTALL THESE CORK PANELS MYSELF?
Absolutely! It’s a total breeze—just peel off the back, place it where you want, and boom—you’re done. No tools, no glue, no stress.
Here are two key things to do first:
- Stick the cork only on smooth, dry, dust-free, and clean surfaces like drywall or flat furniture panels. Bumpy surfaces just won’t cut it.
- Let the panels sit in the room for 72 hours before applying. It helps them adjust to the room’s climate so they won’t curl or peel later on.
WHAT TO AVOID WHEN USING SELF-ADHESIVE CORK?
Mistake #1: Installing on a grimy or dusty wall. Clean it first or the tiles won’t stay put.
Mistake #2: Sticking cork to uneven or rough areas. Even small bumps reduce adhesion.
Mistake #3: Repositioning after sticking. Lifting and reapplying can ruin the adhesive layer—or the panel itself.
DO I NEED EXTRA GLUE?
Nope! Each tile has a solid adhesive backing. As long as your wall is clean, flat, and dust-free, you’re good to go. Skip the glue.
CAN I APPLY OVER TILES OR WALLPAPER?
We don’t recommend it. Cork needs a clean, bare surface for maximum hold. So take off that old wallpaper or tile first.
DOES CORK REALLY INSULATE WELL?
100% yes. Cork’s natural design includes tiny air pockets that form a thermal and sound barrier—keeping you cozy and quiet.
WILL IT WORK LONG TERM?
Cork holds up like a champ—it keeps its insulating power for decades.
Unlike foams that sag or crumble, cork stays intact and keeps doing its job year after year.
HOW IS CORK DIFFERENT FROM FOAM OR MINERAL WOOL?
Foam might be cheap, but it’s synthetic and blocks breathability. Mineral wool can cause itchiness or breathing issues. Cork, however, is natural, breathable, hypoallergenic, and safe for all ages.
IS CORK SAFE FOR KIDS OR PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA?
Definitely. Cork is all-natural, toxin-free, and doesn’t collect dust. Its antistatic surface even helps repel allergens—great for sensitive spaces.
SHOULD I GO WITH ROLLS OR TILES?
Tiles are your best bet for detail work or small areas. For big walls or larger spaces, rolled cork is faster and more efficient.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COARSE, MEDIUM & FINE GRAIN?
- Coarse-grain: Great for blocking noise and locking in heat—its uneven texture absorbs sound and retains warmth.
- Medium-grain: Balanced and ideal for bulletin boards, partitions, or decor zones.
- Fine-grain: Silky-smooth and flexible—perfect for crafting, coasters, or polished wall finishes.
HOW DO I CLEAN CORK?
Super simple—wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. If needed, use a gentle, pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing pads—they can mess up the surface.
Cork insulation? Yeah, it surprised us too — until we realized how incredibly smart it actually is. No contractors, no dust, no demo — just peel, press, and boom. You've upgraded your wall.

#1 PEACE, WARMTH & QUIET – THE EASY WAY
You've finally clocked out, ready to unwind — coffee in hand, favorite show queued up — when your neighbor cranks up their kitchen concert. Self-adhesive cork panels help shut that noise out — thousands of natural air pockets work like tiny sound buffers.
Oh, and about the heating bill — cork keeps warmth in. You won’t need to blast the thermostat just to stay cozy. It’s a smart way to stay warm and save cash.
#2 DIY THAT’S ACTUALLY DOABLE
No need to call a handyman. No tools, no glue, no waiting around. These cork panels come with adhesive backing — peel it, stick it, press it. You're done. Fast, mess-free, stress-free.
And budget-friendly too — no surprise fees, no labor costs. It’s the kind of upgrade that pays off from day one.
#3 A GREEN WIN, START TO FINISH
This isn’t greenwashing — it’s legit. Natural cork captures more CO₂ than it releases across its entire lifecycle. That’s rare in insulation materials.
Even better — the trees don’t get cut down. Cork is harvested from the bark, which regenerates every 9–12 years. The same tree keeps giving, with zero harm done.
Bottom line: it’s a smart choice for your home — and an even better one for the planet.
#4 CLEAN LOOK, LOW MAINTENANCE
Nobody’s got time to dust every day. Especially if you’ve got pets, allergies, or a million things on your plate. Cork naturally resists dust thanks to its antistatic surface, keeping things cleaner, longer.
And when it does need a refresh? Just wipe it with a damp cloth. No chemicals. No scrubbing. No drama. Cork pretty much takes care of itself — until someone sees it and goes, “What’s that on your wall?” And then you get to tell them.
