Finally, press the edges firmly and re-press any loose spots. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set for a secure bond.
HOW DO I FLATTEN A CORK ROLL?
Unroll it and lay it flat on a clean, dry surface (table or floor). Then place heavy, flat objects like books or boards on top.
Spread the weight evenly to avoid dents or high spots. To protect the cork, place a soft cloth underneath. Leave it for several hours – ideally 24 hours – until it relaxes completely flat.
