HOW MUCH AREA DOES ONE PANEL COVER?
Each tile covers approximately 0.05 m². That means you’ll need 21 tiles to fully cover 1 square meter of wall space.
DO 3D CORK PANELS NEED TO ADJUST TO ROOM CONDITIONS?
Absolutely. It’s important to let the cork acclimate for 72 hours before installing. Leave the tiles in the room where they’ll be placed so they adjust to temperature and humidity.
Skipping this step can cause the tiles to lift later — trust us, it’s worth the wait.
WHAT’S THE INSTALLATION PROCESS LIKE?
Super doable — you don’t need a contractor. Just grab a contact adhesive like Wakol D-3540 and follow these steps:
- Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, and dry.
- Apply adhesive to both the wall and tile backs. Typical use is 150–250 g/m². One 0.8 kg tub covers about 4 m², 2.5 kg does around 12.5 m².
- Wait for the glue to turn clear — then press tiles into place firmly.
- Let the surface dry for 24 hours post-installation.
CAN I USE THEM ON UNEVEN WALLS?
We don’t recommend it. The tiles bond best on flat, smooth walls. If your wall’s a bit bumpy, it’s smart to level it out first for the best hold.
WILL THE SEAMS BETWEEN TILES BE VISIBLE?
Cork is natural, so tiny seams may show. But by letting tiles acclimate and installing carefully, you’ll minimize gaps. On a smooth wall, they’re barely noticeable.
DO THESE PANELS ATTRACT DUST?
Nope — cork doesn’t behave like plastic. It’s naturally dust-resistant. And if you do notice any mess, just wipe it down with a soft cloth.
ARE CORK WALL PANELS DURABLE ENOUGH FOR DAILY USE?
Yes! These tiles are built for real-life wear and tear. Way tougher than wallpaper or paint. Just avoid sharp tools and don’t scrub them with harsh chemicals.
