HOW DO FINE, MEDIUM & COARSE CORK DIFFER?

Fine-grain cork feels the smoothest and looks the most refined. It’s used for crafts, coasters, gaskets, and as a stylish wall cover.

Medium-grain cork offers a balanced texture, making it ideal for bulletin boards.

Coarse-grain cork has a bold, rugged texture. It’s a great insulator for sound and temperature and is often found in technical setups.

HOW DO I APPLY PEEL & STICK CORK?

Line it up, peel off the backing, and press firmly. Pay extra attention to the edges for a secure fit.

Only stick to flat, smooth, clean, and dust-free surfaces.
Let the cork rest in the room for 72 hours before installation so it adjusts to humidity and temp.

CAN I USE THESE ON ROUGH SURFACES?

We don’t recommend it. Uneven or textured areas can prevent proper adhesion. Stick to smooth surfaces.

DOES THE ADHESIVE HOLD WELL?

Yes! As long as the surface is prepped right — clean and dry — the adhesive is solid.

CAN I CUT THE CORK TILES?

Totally! Fine-grain cork is easy to cut with a sharp utility knife. Precision is key for clean edges.

ROLLS VS. TILES — WHAT’S BETTER?

Large area? Go with rolled cork for fewer seams. Smaller projects? Sheets and tiles are more convenient.

CAN I USE THEM AS FLOORING?

Not the best idea. Choose dedicated cork flooring or underlayment designed for walking surfaces.

CAN I INSTALL THEM IN A HUMID SPACE?

Yes — cork resists humidity thanks to its natural waterproof component, suberin. Keep relative humidity between 40%–60%.

For extra moisture, apply a safe waterproof sealer over it.

IS IT GOOD FOR BUSY AREAS LIKE HALLWAYS?

Absolutely. Cork beats paint and wallpaper any day:

Paint can chip and fade.
Wallpaper tears easily.
Cork stays sharp and needs less maintenance.

IS CORK ALLERGY-FRIENDLY?

Yes — cork doesn’t trap dust or allergens. It’s naturally antimicrobial, so it keeps mold and bacteria away.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN CORK?

Easy. Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild, pH-neutral soap if needed. Skip harsh cleaners.

CAN I PAINT OVER CORK PANELS?

Sure thing! Use cork-compatible paint. Two coats give you the best results. A painting kit makes the job smoother.

IS FINE CORK GOOD FOR PIN BOARDS?
