HOW THICK IS THE CORK MAP?

All versions are 7 mm thick (about 0.28 in, roughly a quarter inch).

HOW DO I MOUNT THE CORK MAP ON THE WALL?

The kit includes self-adhesive pads. Stick them to the back of the map, then press it onto the wall—no drilling required.

For best results, apply to smooth, clean, and dry surfaces. Clean the wall thoroughly before installation to prevent the map from coming loose.

DO I NEED TO LET THE NATURAL CORK ACCLIMATE?

Yes—ideally for 72 hours. Cork needs time to adjust to your room’s temperature and humidity. Skipping this step may cause warping or weak adhesion.

CAN I USE PUSHPINS ON THE MAP?

Absolutely. Natural cork holds pushpins and map pins securely, so you can mark your trips with confidence.

CAN I WRITE ON THE CORK WORLD MAP?

We don’t recommend it. Cork isn’t a great writing surface—inks and markers are hard to remove, and the texture won’t give you crisp lines.

Use labels, stickers, or pushpins instead. They’re easy to place and remove without damaging the map.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN THE CORK WORLD MAP?

Gently dust with a dry microfiber cloth or a soft duster. Avoid harsh cleaners and scrubbing, which could damage the surface.
