WHAT KIND OF FLOORS CAN I USE CORK UNDERLAYMENT WITH?

HOW DO I INSTALL CORK UNDERLAYMENT?

  1. Let it acclimate — take the cork out of the package and let it sit in the room for about 72 hours.
  2. Make sure your subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Vacuum thoroughly and consider using a vapor barrier sheet (with 10 cm overlaps and a few centimeters up the wall).
  3. Roll it out in strips, laying them perpendicular to your flooring direction. Keep gaps below 2 mm between strips, and leave 1 cm around the room’s perimeter for natural movement.
  4. Use mounting tape to secure strips if needed. Smooth everything out from the center with a roller to avoid bubbles — a wallpaper roller works great.
