WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CORK WORLD MAP?
You can choose from three different sizes: 80 × 150 cm, 107 × 200 cm, and 164 × 300 cm.
HOW THICK IS THE CORK MAP?
Every map comes with a thickness of 7 mm.
HOW DO I INSTALL THE MAP ON THE WALL?
The kit includes adhesive pads you simply stick to the back. Press the map against the wall and you’re done — no drilling required!
For best results, apply it to smooth, clean surfaces. Be sure to wipe down your wall first, otherwise it might not stay up for long.
DOES THE NATURAL CORK NEED TO ACCLIMATE?
Yes, ideally for 72 hours. The cork should adapt to the room’s temperature and humidity. Skipping this step may cause it to warp or peel off later on.
CAN I USE PINS ON THE MAP?
Absolutely! Cork grips push pins really well, so feel free to use as many as you like.
CAN I WRITE ON THE MAP?
We don’t recommend it. Cork isn’t made for writing — markers don’t erase easily and the texture makes handwriting look messy.
Instead, use labels or pins to highlight your destinations. That way you can swap them anytime without damaging the map.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF THE MAP?
A dry cloth or a soft duster is all you need. Avoid chemical cleaners or scrubbing too hard, as that could damage the cork.
IS THE MAP SAFE FOR KIDS?
Yes, completely safe. Cork is a natural, non-toxic, hypoallergenic material with no harmful chemicals.
Just be cautious with pins and tacks — children should use them under adult supervision.
