WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE INSTALLATION?
- Acclimate the tiles – Leave them in the room for 72 hours to settle.
- Prepare the wall – Must be flat, smooth, and dry. Even slight bumps will show.
- Clean thoroughly – Remove dust, oils, old paint, and glue.
- Plan the layout – Know your tile positions before using glue.
HOW TO APPLY 3D CORK PANELS?
Use Wakol D-3540 adhesive. One 0.8 kg pack covers ~69 tiles; 2.5 kg covers ~240 tiles. Use a velour roller to apply glue evenly to both the tile and wall. Wait until glue turns clear, then press the tile on.
SHOULD THE TILES ADJUST TO ROOM TEMP?
Yes – 72 hours of acclimation prevents peeling and gaps.
CAN THEY BE USED ON UNEVEN WALLS?
Walls must be flat, smooth, and clean. Otherwise, adhesion will fail over time.
WILL YOU NOTICE THE TILE EDGES?
Edges might show a bit, but thanks to the design, it’s barely noticeable. Letting tiles acclimate first helps minimize gaps.
DOES CORK REALLY DAMPEN SOUND AND HEAT?
Yes – Cork naturally retains heat and absorbs noise. The air-filled structure insulates without synthetic fillers.
HOW TO CLEAN CORK TILES?
Wipe down with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Use mild cleaner with neutral pH if needed. No soaking, no harsh chemicals.
